Below are a number of websites that may be of interest to microbiologists and students studying microbiology. The sites were submitted by members of the Microbiology Educators listserv sponsored by the ASM and collected by Mark Gallo (Niagara University, NY). - The J. Craig Venter Institute (formerly TIGR) - many resources including microbial genomic databases, synthetic microorganisms, and the human microbiome
- University of Minnesota Biocatalysis/Biodegradation Database - database of pathways of biotechnological interest, with special interest in xenobiotic breakdown
