May 30, 2012 - CSWM Communicator - Spring 2012
The Spring 2012 issue of the CSWM Communicator has been published by the CSWM.  It highlights the committee's activities at asm2012 in San Francisco, CA, including a description of their special interest session, "The Highway to Success for Women in Microbiology:  Avoiding the Potholes and Roadblocks."

September 27, 2011 - New Workplace Flexibility Policies for Scientists Announced
The White House and National Science Foundation announced new workplace flexibility policies to support America’s scientists and their families. These policies will help retain women in the STEM fields. 

Committee
Committee on the Status of Women in Microbiology (CSWM)
This committee periodically collects data on the training and employment of women microbiologists; studies legislation affecting women microbiologists; interacts and cooperates with similar committees in other scientific organizations; encourages women microbiologists to participate in ASM activities; and advises ASM on matters concerning the status of women microbiologists.

Committee Newsletter - CSWM Communicator

The CSWM publishes a newsletter bi-annually with information of interest to women microbiologists.  It includes information on the committee's General Meeting activities, grant and funding opportunities and helpful websites.
